I like C.J., but I miss Margaret. I'm glad Mordecai and C.J. are getting along though. His parents were hilarious, especially Mom's habit of trying to make people welcome through food.

One of the things I love about this show is they learn a lesson but in the wackiest way possible. In this case it was be kind to your mother, as taught to Mordecai by VHS versions of himself from the past who take him hostage. Other examples are "don't cut corners" taught to Rigby by the Stealth Co. guided missiles and "follow directions" from Death Kwan Do Pizza & Subs. It's like a regular kid's cartoon rotated 90° into the fourth dimension.
