February 7, 2018 10:55 AM - Season 5, Episode 3 - Subscribe

This week, Derek Waters joins Questlove to talk about Turntablism (with O'shea Jackson Jr., Method Man and Miles Brown), Carl Tart tells the story of Motown Records founder Berry Gordon (Bryan Tyree Henry) and Diana Ross (Tymberlee Hill), and Ashley Nicole Black explains how Nichelle Nichols (Raven Symoné) went on from almost quitting Star Trek only to continue at Dr. Martin Luther King's (Jaleel White) plea to star in the first interracial kiss on TV and volunteering with a NASA diversity program.

Quest's lecture on the genesis of turntableism, though delivered while drunk, should be worth college credit.

Quest could probably tell the story in a coma. I've heard him doing the same thing while sober (or at least not this drunk) for some other show, and it wasn't that far off.
