It's a creative crime that we didn't get to see the big musical number that happened before this episode began. It's a journalistic crime that a lot of reviews of this episode play off the non-applicable Whitesnake reference instead of the clearly referenced ABBA one.

The cast clearly felt the same way.

Still, there's something to be said for the 'off-screen mission' trope. Waterloo could be Legends of Tomorrow's Giant Rat of Sumatra. I'm only sorry we didn't get to see Rory in 1970s splendor too.

I normally hate timeloop episodes, but I absolutely loved this one. Everything clicked perfectly from the hair and eye shadow to emotional notes of each character. Seeing Gideon again, was a bonus, as was her sense of humour about Gary. This is seriously in contention for best of the series.

uhhh ok i love this episode so much. the fun montage, the character development, the fourth wall breaking, the emotions, the SARA CALLING AVA WHILE DOING CROSSWORDS IN PRIVATE, the playing violin for real, even the fakeout. i can't believe i'm saying this two seasons later but this is my favorite DC-CW show.

Am I the only one worried about the introduction of Wally? The crew seems to have a good balance at the moment and a nice sense of rapport. Wally, I hate to say it, has always been a wet blanket. I know he's supposed to be a Zen and centred right now, but I don't really see how he's going to fit in as a character (as a speedster, I guess his power set would always be welcomed and relatively cheap to produce from an F/S standpoint).

I know Legends has done really good things for characters other DC shows has discarded, but I don't know if it is pressing its luck too much with Wally.

This was the best! So good! Mick writes a romance! There's a fun montage! Nate is actually kinda useful for a change! Gideon is funny! I love it. And the outfits!!!!!! And that video link!

I dunno on Wally either. Seems nice enough, I guess, but he has never stood out to me as anyone very memorable or needed. But...whatever, I guess. I'm more concerned about bringing Rip back as a problem.

I like that you zeroed in on Nate. You're right. He wasn't completely useless or terrible this episode--that's how good it was.
