The 100: Red Queen
May 2, 2018 9:16 PM - Season 5, Episode 2 - Subscribe
46 day after Praimfaya, inhabitants of the Second Dawn Bunker discover they are trapped. Octavia faces tough decisions as their leader.
AV Club recap / review
Wow, I started the episode only half caring, but by the end I was so invested in whatever Octavia has planned. But yes I hope Kane lives.
I mean, it's all up in the air at this point because I thought Jaha was going to live through all the seasons. I try not to see the news about contracts of cast members because that's going to spoil stuff, and I don't know if there is such an issue with Isaiah Washington but I wouldn't be surprised.
It's obvious that they can't survive with that many people, but we always knew it would come down to tough decisions for whoever is in charge. And what Jaha imparted on Octavia was some harsh wisdom that you just can't ignore or work around. In such desperate times, there will be cullings.
So I wonder what Kane did to become an enemy of Wonkru.
In case you didn't watch with captions on, what Gaia called Octavia at the end is "Blodreina". That's a hell of a name.

I liked this one a lot, myself. I think part of the reason this story is echoing a bit is because history tends to - The 100 is very much about these kids growing up, and whether they can escape the mistakes their parents made. It's a little on the nose, but I'm actually fascinated that their answer so far is 'not really.'
