I really enjoyed this episode. The kid is so a Jaqobis. Leather pants and knives are going to be the theme I will try to avoid thinking about all week. The, 'divine calling,' of the Protectors interests me. I doubt they work for the Lady. I am guessing that they guard so weapon or knowledge that can be used to defeat her.

My money is still on Pip becoming pathos this season but maybe he gets to live as a sop for killing Pree and/or Gared. Or vice versa.

I was surprised Delle Seyah took off so quickly. I guess she has plans to keep and schemes to realize but I thought she'd want a bit more control over Jaq, at least in the short term.

Only still watching while Zeph's around.

Honestly, I was getting a DifferentKhlyen vibe off of the other assassin. I dunno if they just went back to the wardrobe department once too often, or if that was intentional.

And I loved that Pree's cheekbones are apparently wireless hotspots.

Hey, whoever feels like posting the new episode thread on Friday should have at it — I’ll be leaving for DragonCon Thursday morning and won’t get to watch the episode until sometime Tuesday. (Johnny & Lucy will be guests at con this year no idea if I will make it to any of the Killjoys panels, but I’ve got them noted in the schedule app.)

Have fun at the con, oh yeah! Love to hear your thoughts on the whole thing, whether it's Killjoys-related or not.

Thanks, I will probably add some comments to the IRL thread during con, and try to comment on specific panels in the relevant show threads afterwards. And, for anyone not attending in person, the streaming membership is a good deal - last year’s lasted for 3 months after con, but I think the plan this time is for it last until the 2019 membership starts, with as many full panels up for viewing as contractually possible.
