I thought it was a little hard to peg the target demographic for it, because it contained a lot of elements that seemed to cater to a YA audience (loads of emotive indie music montages, nice looking younger people, general Hunger Games-ish starkness), but at other times I felt like it had much much more adult theme elements. Regardless, I largely enjoyed it.

some scattered thoughts:
I thought the female lead June was excellent
So many great Norwegian sweaters!
Sigrid...yeah, saw that one coming.
I would love to rent Sanctum for a vacation

This completely fell apart, to my eyes. nice premise, appealing cast, some nice cinematography, and stellar indie pop soundtrack choices. BUT...

By the end, the repetitive focus was on tense one-on-one conversation/confrontations that mostly eschewed the larger significance of the existence of shifters and how they fit into the world in favor of Strong Feelings from the Families Involved. I kept falling asleep over and over during the last two eps.
