Anyone interested in a watch-through of Lexx?

The entire series on DVD is around $20, and apparently it is streaming on Amazon Prime in the US and UK, although I can't confirm that.

Cheesy, awful Canadian sci-fi! If you haven't watched Lexx before, you are in for . . . a unique experience? Yeah, let's go with that:

"The show was often described as the anti-Star Trek, and, fittingly, you could say the show's five-year mission was to explore strange new worlds and blow them up, seek out the sleaziest and seediest new life and civilization, and to boldly come where no man has come before."

There is an episode that is a musical -- that is, has songs in it.

A friend who loves "Lexx" cajoled me into watching that episode.

I will not be participating in this FanFare watch-through, but I wish you all good spirits and the best of fun.

I might join in for the third and fourth seasons, but I pretty much managed to sleep through large chunks of the first two.

I can confirm that it's on Amazon Prime. I missed this the first time around, so sure, I'll probably follow along.

This was made in my home town, and I applied to be a writer. I think I still have the show bible somewhere in my files. If I can find it I'll post some of the behind-the-scenes stuff.

Some pretty cool guest stars - Malcolm McDowell, Tim Curry, Rutger Hauer, Britt Ekland, Maury Chaykin - for a very crappy show. Fun to watch for me, as I directed a lot of the local actors in radio commercials.

I don't know if Amazon Prime has the first season as full 2-hour episodes, or if they are split into 1-hour parts -- Lexx isn't available on Canadian Amazon Prime.

There are four episodes listed, each with a 1:33 running time: "I Worship His Shadow", "Super Nova", "Eating Pattern", and "Giga Shadow".
