Reed, Caitlin, and Lauren meet with Dr. Risman in an attempt to stabilize Reed's powers. Following the Inner Circle's bank ambush, Thunderbird and Blink continue to work together to chase them down. Meanwhile, Polaris reflects on her troubled relationship with her father and takes steps to protect Dawn from the Inner Circle.

Loved the last scene. My wife commented that the show has an '80s feel, and I wanted to correct her and say it has a Claremontian feel, but she wouldn't have got it.

this was a really well done episode. It might not have moved the plot along much, since all we really got was Reed starting a treatment, Lorna wisely moving the baby out of harm's way, and Rebecca ditching the Inner Circle. All of that could be condensed into a half hour episode. However, we got some really really great backstory on Lorna, and there was heavy emotional labor throughout the episode, culminating with Lorna finally taking up her father's legacy and tension between Clarice and John. Even Lauren is getting great nuance in wanting to save her father but also not wanting to give them the ability to suppress the x-gene.
