Here’s how it went down
Here’s how it went down
- Sweet intro jam!
- “What would it be like to be a bigger cog?”
- Cake/cereal smoothwedge
- The dream of senior operations analysis
- “I pronounce it Eckspetially”
- “MY HUNGER RESTORES AS I AM FED AND I WILL NEVER BE SATED THIS IS MY CURSE”
- Choregoose
- Claudette has powerful energy
- “What if there’s a giant monster crab down there, waiting to pinch my butt?”
- She’s eating corn while typing.
- Dirk is the worst
- What is the difference between extra broth and regular bone broth?
- Her breast does deserve a drink. (Guest spot by Awkwafina)
- Ah, the meat and cheese drawers.
- “How To Flirt Responsibly In The Workplace And Land The Man Of Your Dreams”
- Speckle delivers on two different kinds of oven fries.
- A boyfrynd
- I, too, have stayed up all night watching car crash videos.

- Tigers make every flyer great
- “He honked my goose!”
- Bertie’s victory back flips
- Oh dang, that parrot in the window.
I read that there are general categories of birds in this universe, like all geese are dumb. I had not noticed the chicken pattern!

Claudette reminds me a bit of Washimi the secretary bird in Aggretsuko.
I just love this show so much.

I love how this episode captured so many aspects of sexism in the workplace.
- the men already hang out outside of work & talk sports in the office
- a man stealing a woman's ideas
- you have to speak up and be noticed but then you try and it is just awkward
- the alarm for when women haven't spoken! Needed!!
- "He made me think about my body at work!" was a perfect description of one of the things I hate about being harassed in the workplace.
- it is hard to see your legitimate flaws when you get feedback (or lack of acknowledgement) based on your identity alone. So okay, I know this person thinks my work is mediocre simply because I am a woman/PoC/queer/disabled/etc. (I am not all of those things, just as an example). Now I have to figure out what I actually need to work on vs what is a problem with the viewpoint of the person/org that I can't personally change.
Other things:
- the temp names need to be adopted far and wide
- the meat and cheese drawers!
- the boob!
- in general I am amazed at how many little nuggets get their moment of animation, even when they are not really part of the story. Like whoever writes on chalkboards in The Good Place - someone takes time and care to make something we hardly have time to see/read

I liked that Speckle's idea of a celebratory dinner is two kinds of oven fries.
I also appreciated that Tuca kind of killed it at Bertie's work, even though we saw her being a disaster at her choregoose gigs. Also, hee, choregoose is fun to say.
