Woooooooow. A lot of difficult deaths in this one. A lot of faked deaths in this one too – like, three out of five characters?

I'll miss this show terribly.

I thought that was a very satisfying ending.

The A/V club points out a bunch of dropped plot threads and plot holes. And I agree with them on a lot of that. I was frustrated that they fridged Michelle at the very end, along with so many others. But even so, I was satisfied.

I hadn't realized until now that Season 4 had to be changed because of the Robert Knepper sexual misconduct issue.

Two things that are confusing me, though: how did Peyton have a vision of Darcy's death? I assume they aren't eating Darcy's brain -- that would have cured Peyton and Blaine, and also, Blaine said they thing about needing to get her body to the client. So, was Peyton lying about the vision? And if so, how did she know about Darcy's murder? I would have been surprised if she even knew Donny had a girlfriend at all.

The other thing -- how and when did Blaine's father end up back in the well? Last we saw, he was about to be torn to shreds by a zombie horde.

Peyton and Blaine were eating Bubba's brain and he was with Blaine when they killed Darcy.

That was a satisfying final episode to the story.

I concur with the AV club review. I guess I'm happy Rob Thomas managed a happy ending here, more or less.

Jerks down the well seemed so...anticlimactic for them, somehow.

I think both Blaine and Don E ending up in the well is... poetic in a way, a call back to when they kept Blaine's dad down there.

I thought this was a good enough ending, but I wanted this last episode to be like twice as long. I wanted to actually show how Liv got out of that explosion and how they ended up on Zombie Island.

I'm mostly frustrated that we didn't see what happened with Dolly. I hate that character so viscerally and I want the worst to happen to her. Props to the writers and the actress for crafting such a despicable character. I want her to feel more pain than having to shoot her zombie son, I mean, she didn't even flinch.

But I'm glad our main people got their happy finale. I didn't want any of them to have a mediocre ending, and Liv Moore helping people live more on a zombie island is fine by me.
