My Brother, My Brother And Me: MBMBaM 477: Crash Bandicoot’s Wallet Chain

If you open yourself up to it, love can find you in the strangest of places. In the meat aging attic. In Crash Bandicoot's loaded back pocket. Or, in an unassuming serving of customizable, hastily baked authentic Italian pasta. Come, have a bowl. Reconnect. Suggested talking points: Old Beef Jokes, Sporf, Damien Adultduck, The Raw Voice, Brown Sonic, Veggie Extravaganza, Tom Orrow, The Inside of Superman's Mouth and Butt

It was so dumb and yet the ad from inside the box -- and then there was a snake? -- had me laughing.

The opening just about murdered me, but then I always love the "gang up on Travis" segments. I listened while walking home from work and had a headache from (poorly) stifling laughter by ten minutes in.

Me: "I don't have to do anything just because a podcast host tells me to."

Also me: "No it wasn't a wallet chain it was a medallion and a gold watch, right?"

Yep! I ended my Twitter retirement to bother a former president with a sketch of Crash Bandicoot.

Griffin's ability to make the ads entertaining is nearly miraculous. The box (and previously BEAST MODE) both redeemed completely wasted airtime and are the only effective way (other than bribing me with in-game currency) to get me to actually stick around for advertisements.

It's really hard to let yourself be the heel, especially in improv comedy. And Travis is so good at it. Not only in the opening segment, but also with the box ad. "I'm sitting on it.... Still sitting on it." So good, such an excellent bit of "yes, and"ing even though it has the appearance of "no, but"ing.
