I'm sad that "Beth" seems irredeemable. Once she stabbed the commander, it seems like that was the key for the show to really put her in the evil camp.

Being a CW Arrowverse show it will take the entire season for Jacob and Kate to come to realize that Beth is irredeemable. :)

I didn't catch it at first but Luke mentioning the Arkham Asylum breakout to Mary is a reference to last year's Elseworlds crossover, which places the Batwoman timeline about a year behind Arrow and Flash.
