See below. Messed up the post. I blame my frustration with this episode.

"Say faith one more time motherf#(<er, I dare you." Talk about a hammer. This episode has one dimension spread across two universes. Faith should be a fall back for our heroes not the tent pole by which their lives are lived. Heroes take action, sometimes things get dicey and faith is called for. But this episode would have everyone living on faith in someone else. Joe relying on faith in others while in a no-win situation at least made sense. Cisco and Breacher were just a mess. And the Caitlin Ramsey scene was painfully trite and did little to develop either character or the plot for the arc.

Please, Flash writers, do better.

The highlight of the episode for me was Candice Patton's hairstyle - I'd seen a tweet or something earlier this season about how she'd been asking for seasons to let her have her hair natural for Iris, and that finally this season (the first with a black show runner) she got the yes. But for the rest of the show? Yeah, I'm still bored and just waiting for Crisis resolution.

Shouldn't Barry and Iris be trying to conceive Nora? If they really believe he's going to be dead in 6 weeks, shouldn't they be in constant TTC mode, and/or sperm-banking so Iris can keep trying post-Crisis? Maybe I missed it, but it feels like they've never even discussed it this season aside from the time Iris was upset over nearly losing her jacket.

This is probably due to my lowered expectations of The Flash but I liked this episode. No monster of the week, we visited some new locations, big baddie got a fun speech, no-one being too stupid, Cisco got to do something = better than average.

Shouldn't Barry and Iris be trying to conceive Nora?

Maybe that's why they went to Tahiti...

More seriously, I suspect they will hold off until the last possible moment before the Crisis for Iris to announce she is pregnant.

What plastic_animals said about conceiving Nora.
I also liked Iris's curly hair. Very cute. Stick with it!

I actually kinda enjoyed Cisco's reunion with Josh, though it was so obvious they couldn't get the actress back. And Kamilah was a very supportive girlfriend under the circumstances.

Nobody should go on how Barry makes decisions, though. Bad idea.

I missed how Cisco was able to breach to the crime scene to confront Echo... was there some “residual Vibe energy“ handwavium? Also, has Kamilla always been so conversant with Star Labs’ systems, or did her character get a buff for this episode?

"Say faith one more time motherf#(er, I dare you." Talk about a hammer.

Back in the TWoP days, we would call this "anvilicious".

I mostly liked this episode, except a few things

* the CGI for Ralph's rescue of Joe and Nash was... awful. Like, 90s sci-fi (TekWar, Time Trax) bad. I guess the whole budget is going to Crisis stuff?
* Breacher's entrance. I mean, I get that it was cute and all, but that's not what we've been shown breaching looks like, and it's not how he left.
* Nash. Nash is the second-worst Wells, behind only the Counsel of Wells (all tied for first).

Kinda tired of Rosso already, and I'm glad that storyline wasn't huge this week.

I liked this episode. A lot of good, mature dialog, with no terrible decision making. I wonder if it's because Barry was on vacation.

He had the Interdimensional Extrapolator, aka the breach device. Cisco made a bunch and handed them out like candy to anyone in the Arrowverse. Both Oliver and Diggle had them in the 2nd episode this season of Arrow. Kara, Alex, and I think Jimmy each has one, or at least they all share one in Supergirl. The only people seemingly without one are the Legends, not that they really need one. The watch that the Time Bureau uses do the same thing, but better, 'cause "future tech".

Breacher's entrance. I mean, I get that it was cute and all, but that's not what we've been shown breaching looks like, and it's not how he left.

He used some kind of space-time knife, possible the Hunter-Killer Blade, to cut open a breach. He left using the breach device from Cisco, which seems easier than using the blade.
