OMG looking at this page made me realized there's five episodes I haven't seen!

Yeah, they were all aired at different times than the "normal" schedule. One was a Halloween special, the other four all aired this week. Cartoon scheduling!
Finn the Sword doesn't seem too shook up about being a sword, so that's good.

I love that this show has a male character named Tiffany and no one ever comments on it.

Airing these 5 episodes this week has been a real joy. Each of them are exceptional in their own way. Giving us these has been the best early christmas present the network could give. I hope season 6 is a long one like season 5 was.

yeah, this whole run of episodes has been incredible. The whole concept of ants that are dentists seems a little unrealistic to me though, given that (A) most of the people who have used the dentist are candy people (does that mean a meal of sugar is actually pro-dental health?) and (B) does finn now have dentures or is it something elst?

I'm guessing that Tiffany is going to return leading a worm army.

Is Tiffany male? I thought Tiffany was biologically female and preferred male pronouns or is that over complicating things?

Tiffany is always referred to as male, and, not to get into a whole debate about trans issues here, but if a person prefers a certain gender of pronoun and presents as that gender, then that is their actual gender*. Honestly it didn't occur to me that Tiffany might be trans, but if so that's awesome.
*Apologies if this isn't an accurate description, I am but an oft-confused cis person

I think Finn's teeth are all dental crowns now. Like, all of Finn's teeth.

On the AT wiki, Tiffany is considered a boy, but is referred to as a girl in some other countries.

Actually, it's about ethics in insectile dentistry.
I like the way Dentist is grammatically a thing/place/state of being in Ooo, not a profession.

Re-watching, I'm really curious on how Jake's time as a criminal worked. I was always under the impression that Jake might be slightly older than Finn, but Jake was still pretty young when his parents adopted Finn. Maybe (as a dog), Jake grew up quicker and spent some of his time away from the family?
And please... please... please... Can we get another appearance from Jake's brother Jerome some day?

Finally....caught up. There ain't nothin' more funnin' than catchin' up on Adventure Timin'.....okay that didn't really work, but none the less, this marks the last new episode I was behind on.
I loved the ant's complaint that they really needed X and a flash light, but they keep getting butter and snakes. Do the butter and snakes help fool the fly spies? Hrm....
Tiffany. I can't believe he's dead, either, myself, but will return in some capacity later. People don't walk away from promises to kill! I always assumed the name Tiffany was given to the character as part of a joke, not an intent to convey a trans nature, myself. Tiffany is (was?) a kind of arch enemy stereotype, the bad guy who will most definitely spend too much time like a Bond villain explaining how they're going to kill the hero, but in doing so, either give the hero time to escape or somehow otherwise sabotage their own plans. There's also the fact that Tiffany isn't human, so who knows how that plays out.
The whole idea of ants who exchange dental services for military service is both strange, but weirdly makes sense to me. Why not in Oooo?
I liked the visual of miniature highways running through caverns underground and had flashbacks to the Diggers on Fraggle Rock. The worm fighting scene was awesome, exactly what I wanted when the worms attacked.
It was also interesting that a number of people were around for Finn's departure and return, and if I recall, celebrated his appearance, as if going to Dentist wasn't necessarily always a two way trip.

I liked how it was kind of a commentary on how one could read the current state of affairs as poor people needing to join the army to have access to decent medical care. That was actually a whole plot line on the Lifetime original series Army Wives.

bleep. That totally passed by me, but at the same time, it now seems glaringly obvious thanks to your comment. Geez, I love this show.
