Apparently findagrave.com was a casualty of the Crisis.

I've been wanting a non-evil Grodd for ages, so I was really happy about that. Also loving Chester's addition to the team.

I'm several seasons out of the loop, but I keep seeing this episode title and I like Grodd. Is this an episode okay to jump into or am I going to be hopelessly confused? Last I watched they were still all mucked up in Eobard stuff.

this week in "wtf Barry":
- It takes him no time to literally run around the earth, but he can't look through every gravestone in 700 sq miles?
- Is there some psychological/mindscapey reason why they _had_ to fight Solovar instead of using superspeed and just run around him and jump into that portal?

I was hoping Eva would actually be good, but too bad she's clearly evil. So who's !Iris? Some kind of mirror version that Eva created? An Eva-clone that looks like Iris (which would explains the multiple language and certain skills).

I also commend the episode for Grodd going good and Chester joining the team.

GoblinHoney I guess this is an ok episode to jump in as long as you don't care about the world pre-Crisis. A lot apparently changed and this episode was Barry somewhat coping with that, and also Grodd gets some decent dialog. If you wanna not get too confused you're gonna have to do some research/watch a ton to catch up. But basically a lot from the past seasons have been handwaved away because of Crisis.

I almost didn't remember that Pied Piper aka Hartley turned good in pre-Crisis.

I've watched almost every episode of The Flash, but not being into the broader Arrowverse I missed half of the Crisis crossover ones (most crucially the one? in which it was resolved). Consequently I'm somewhat at sea myself, GoblinHoney. As numaner says, what with it being a partial reboot this is as good a place as any to jump back in, unless you want to play a lot of catchup.

This episode felt very much like they started with a cool piece of Grodd fan art and wrote a script to justify it, while spinning the plates on a couple of slow-moving B- and C-plots.
