I liked this better than most of the reviewers seemed to. I mean, yeah, I guess the dialogue is pretty bio-pic exposition-ish, and anachronistic in places. But I didn't mind the anachronism, and I thought the use of modern music in places was fun. And it's such a lush period piece -- all those great hats and dresses, the range of hairstyles and looks. And I got all weepy at the end.

I'm on the second episode and really enjoying it, too. Love the soundtrack.
