So any bets on whether or not Max is getting prepped for a beheading like Carrie seems to think?

I'm guessing not, but I can't quite figure out what Harkhani's son wants to film max saying in front of that banner. He obvs needs him alive for that, thus the order for medication as soon as he saw Max. But like what does he want Max to say? That his father didn't shoot down the presidents? that the US was involved, some shadow conspiracy involving the former VP, now POTUS?

I don't think Carrie could bear seeing Max killed like Brody was. Pls don't kill Max pls.

Max is too sweet to kill. I was a bit annoyed about how all this stuff with him was just a transparent maneuver to communicate the minimal info about the black box to Carrie before Max was placed back in mortal peril. I assume the next two episodes ignore Max's plight mostly as Carrie goes after the black box.

Costa Ronin is so good as Yvgeny in this show. He's instantly completely believable, being kind and sweet to Carrie and helping her and seemingly genuinely confused at why she's mad at him. All the while there's still the suspicion that he's playing her. He didn't get a lot of chance to establish this character but he's working it very well.

(Super-late to watching; lockdown has disrupted my TV viewing.)
