A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019)

When an alien with amazing powers crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun the Sheep goes on a mission to shepherd the intergalactic visitor home before a sinister organization can capture her.
The boychild is a big fan, but since his second-favorite pretend game is one where he is a baby alien with amazing powers, this is unsurprising. Shaun the Sheep is in general highly recommended as children's entertainment that doesn't insult the intelligence.

I love the nod to classic Doctor Who they put in this one!
And I agree that Shawn the Sheep (and the Timmy ones) are great family entertainment that are completely drowned out by a lot of kids content that isn't nearly as good.

There were so many homages to other sci-fi films!

I thought this was really well done and has a ton of wonderfully understated gags, plus the aforementioned film references. My son said the alien's mouth made him kind of uncomfortable, to which I say, "Good work, Aardman!"

I really couldn't sit through this one with my 4-year-old, who then spent the next several days imitating the baby alien. I love the short episodes of Shaun the Sheep, and we watch them constantly, but didn't think the movie lived up to its potential.
What we have had in super heavy rotation, and what I offer as a suggestion to those who seek Aardman content as often as we do, is Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Timeless!
