That's cute, polytope.

So I don't know if this whole kryptonite thing is supposed to be setting up the next crossover (which, by reports is Superman & Lois Lane and Batwoman) or something else.

Teenage rando needs to show some respect for that ancient tech. I mean, I'm sure Lucius and Luke have kept up the specs on it. I do like that Mary was still put out by being the last to know Kate's identity. That hurt is going to hang around for a long time between sisters, even if it just becomes a (mostly resolved) sibling button-pushing issue.

I’m not sure how Alice would get any kryptonite without doing a crossover - didn’t Supergirl a few seasons ago have the entire world supply of it on lockdown? Also, does this mean the batsuit is made of Superman leather, ew ew ew.

I liked how quickly Kate got teenage rando (took me several scenes to remember who she was, thanks hiatus) to use the batcomputer by appealing to her leet hacksaw pride.

Much happier with Mary’s secret identity plot than Lena’s on Supergirl. The latter felt way too flimsy to build as much plot on as they have.

Okay but... Why not just kill Kate when she's not suited up? I mean... She spends most of her life out in the open, not in the Bat-suit.

Was Tommy's costume meant to evoke Larry from Doom Patrol? The head bandage with the aviator jacket is a great look, don't get me wrong, but I found it distracting because it was so similar.

It seems life the fight scenes are better lit the farther into the season we get.

I wish they could write this show to let Ruby Rose cut loose a bit more. She's better in roles where she can be edgy and unpredictable. This squared-off do-gooder take is really stifling her. Kate Kane is the least interesting character on the show, and I don't think that's Ruby Rose's fault.

I'm shuddering at the idea of Superman leather. Yuck! I guess it is dried and tanned under a red sun.

The idea of needing Lucius' tech to kill a Bat is totally and completely ridiculous when the villain knows who is under the cowl. It absolutely doesn't make any sense. Even if the bad guy/gal wants to kill the suited up Bat, I'm sure it's easy enough to kill the civilian persona, get the costume and dress the corpse in it or release mountains of evidence (which should be easy to produce) when you drop the body somewhere public.

Tommy's outfit was a pretty comics accurate depiction (although maybe with a lighter-coloured collar). I did find, however, that his mask was of a lesser quality than Larry's. This one was really evident that it was a solid piece (okay two pieces--the top and the movable jaw) than the Doom Patrol one. I don't think it fit his face as well.

I don't know if it's because she sustained an injury very early into shooting this show, but I'm finding the fight scenes really distracting just because they take such obvious efforts to shoot Batwoman from behind and to not let the audience see Ruby Rose (as I presume it's her stunt double doing most of the fighting.) Normally, those kinds of things don't jump out at me at all, but it is screaming obvious here. Maybe I just got used to Arrow, where Amell did more of the stunt work himself and/or they had a closer stunt double and/or they were sneakier about the shooting angles.
