In a school populated by anthropomorphic animals, a humble wolf with anxiety investigates a classmate's sudden murder, while contending with his bewildering feelings for a kindly dwarf rabbit. Streaming on Netflix
Last night at Cherryton High School, an herbivore student was killed and eaten. Among the members of the drama club, the herbivores’ suspicions naturally turn to their carnivore classmates… The prime suspect? Legoshi, a large wolf. But he wouldn’t hurt a fly—or would he? And will dwarf rabbit Haru bring out the beast in him? Or are his feelings for her… something else?
Beastars was originally a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki. The series has won multiple awards, including being the first Akita Shoten title to take home the Manga Taishō Award.
The anime television series adaptation by Orange premiered on October 8, 2019 on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block. The series was released on Netflix in March 2020.

It's interesting that in the sub version, at least, they haven't changed Haru's age for an american audience, which means her first sexual experiences are portrayed when she is very young. Now maybe rabbit years aren't human years, but i'm still a bit surprised that they let it fly.
In general I think the symbolism is laid on pretty heavily, but the characters are interesting and we've kept watching.
