Even if the subject of blood grosses you out, you will find much to value in this information-rich (and iron-rich) podcast.

I was kind of surprised that they never really went into how blood works (hemoglobin carrying oxygen, for example). It was all fascinating, but I felt like much of the hour skirted around what blood was actually for, in a more concrete sense than "it keeps us alive."
