Interest in the Earthsea Cycle?

Would anyone be interested in a reread of Ursula Le Guin's Earthsea cycle?
There are six books, all relatively short (150-300 pages):
If folks are interested, I can create a club in FanFare and we can work out a schedule.
There are six books, all relatively short (150-300 pages):
- A Wizard of Earthsea
- The Tombs of Atuan
- The Farthest Shore
- Tehanu
- Tales from Earthsea
- The Other Wind
If folks are interested, I can create a club in FanFare and we can work out a schedule.
I re-read the first 3 (on audiobook, on my commute) just before lockdown, would be up for this.

These are among the earliest books I fell in love with; my 4th-grade lit teacher, who was a humorless martinet, handed me "A Wizard of Earthsea" and said, "I think you'll like this." I LOVED IT. So here for this.

Thanks, everyone! I think I'll wait to start the club until after the election. I will not have the emotional bandwidth to do it until that's settled, which (God willing) won't be long.

Oh, yes. I just re-read the first three two years ago and then I got The Books of Earthsea and life got in the way. I have never gotten to read the whole series and this sounds like a wonderful distraction for the coming months. Please may I join?

OK, I've created the club. I was thinking we could start discussion on A Wizard of Earthsea two weeks from now (that'd be Nov. 20)? If that doesn't work, we can push it back to after (US) Thanksgiving.

OK, to give everyone ample time to read it, I've set the event for A Wizard of Earthsea for Dec. 4. I'll create a discussion thread then.

I'm just starting out in an attempt to read ALL of Le Guin's novels and short stories...basically anything that was covered in the Tor Books "Rereading Le Guin" project on their blog. I'm right in the midst of "City of Illusions" right now, but "Wizard of Earthsea" is the next thing on my list. I'll be a bit out of sync time wise, but I'm looking forward to the threads!
