Caduceus is ace!

I'm surprised at how happy this made me. I immediately messaged one of my friends to tell her.

I think this might be the first time that a character I really like has turned out to be ace. (I'm not counting characters who are computers or aliens here - that's a little different. )

I also like how the conversation was handled. It wasn't treated as a big deal and the Caduceus was cute. I've had almost the exact same conversation with friends and family members, before anyone really knew what "asexual" meant.

I actually haven't finished the episode, yet, I just saw this got posted and had to squee a bit.

Yeah, I liked the way that it came up organically (there have been references to it before, but nothing explicit), and Talesin's answers seemed pretty on target.

The Beau/Yasha scene was also extremely cute, but I am kind of glad that they didn't get together when Yasha is dressed like Henry Crabgrass.

Mr. Dinty and I were divided on exactly how bad of an idea it was to cover up Vess's death. He seems to think that they would have been blamed for it anyway, I think that there was a chance that they could have convinced folks that someone else was responsible, but if anything happens to the body and they don't resurrect her, there's a good chance they'll be taken for Xorhas agents, the war will restart, and their options are going to be really limited.

I also don't know how likely this is going to be, but the idea of resurrecting Vess in Eiselcross and ending up with user #2 (or Molly's spirit) is also incredibly entertaining.

Molly in DeRogna’s body would be amazing.

We don’t know enough about the Nonagon title/ritual to know what kind of deal you have to make to become one, but I’m sure if it’s possible, many of the Mighty Nein would want to get those red eye tattoos.

I don't think they'll bring Molly back, just because it would be awkward for either Matt or Taliesin to play him now.

I do wonder how much I should read into the fact that "Molly" still had a (bad) Irish accent. Is that a thing that's just cuz, or does it tell us something about the relationship between Molly and his past (now probably current) self? Is it the same self, just with different memories?

People who know Irish accents better than me point out that Molly's Irish accent is from a different area than Luciens, but I like the idea that a) Molly's accent is much softer because it's just leftover muscle memory, which works differently or whatnot or b) Molly woke up, ran into someone who was like 'didn't you have an Irish* accent the last time I saw you?', and then just made a go of it and never stopped.

*or, whatever the exandrian equivalent of Irish is

I don't think that any of the Nein are looking to be a Nonagon right now, but I do wonder if it's somehow related to consecution. . . and also Beau got a tattoo based off of Molly's - which at least incorporates the eye, and even if it doesn't do anything, is going to be a little awkward when they run into Lucien and they have matching tatts.

Well, that episode is one of the rare moments where I'm on edge because I've figured something out and the players take a long time to piece it together. I mean, if Molly is departing somewhere with the sheaf of papers you last saw with Vess, maybe you should go check on Vess?

The throwdown in snowtown is coming!

Those were some fun twists, a very good player challenge.

Also Mercer's costume was amazing, eyebrows and all. It added a ton to his (non-voice) acting. I could tell he fucking relished playing Molly as well, he did a great job.

I barely recognized anyone's costume though the girls' were especially amazing. I didn't recognize Liam's Astrid or Sam's Kiri at all. I thought Taliesin was actually cosplaying Matt
