The remaining potters get fruity when they're challenged to make a bowl full of realistic ceramic fruits, and face a blindfolded throw down with a twist.

What a good episode. Of course it helps that anyone can instantly look at a finished piece of ceramic fruit and say, "Yep, that's accurate."

Torn on Alon. He's clearly just doing his own thing and biting off more than he can chew, but he might get a spectacular piece or two if there's enough people going home for technical mistakes when he overreaches. If this were edited like GBBO we'd get a shot of Keith coming up to him after the elimination and telling him to rein it in. I can't even remember the judges coming up to him during the build and asking, "So, uh, is it going to work this time?"

I know, I like that he reaches for the moon every time but it's not a winning strategy!

I was intensely charmed by the concept of "well technically they're fruit", and, though I thought the proportions were off.(too big a bowl, though the bowl was also gorgeous), I was pleased she won.
