Like the show; don’t really care for the presidential campaign framing device. Is Future Rock...extra-wrinkly?

Looking forward to this, though. People playing wrestlers! Ed Orgeron and Warren Sapp!

Nahnatchka Khan is great and that's why I'm interested in this.

I think The Rock (the adult one) has way too much charm and screen presence but I don't think I really need an origin story for him. I do like that this leans into the weirdness of his childhood/adolescence from his perspective (like -- it was just normal for him).

I don't know how much this show can sustain all of this. I do like the weirdness of it, though. And I hope as it continues, it just decides to be weird and fun. I'd continue to watch that show.

This is one of the best opening episodes of any show.

Usually it takes a few for the premise and the cast to "gel" - sometimes they never do, but this was great right out of the gate.

Creator/Director Nahnatchka Khan did a How I Get It Done interview with The Cut.
