I don't know if anybody here has seen the film or will check in on this, but Michael Martin, the New Orleans actor who played a fictionalized version of himself and acted as the glue that held this unusual project together, died yesterday.

I got to know him as a result of writing a review of the film for my Absolute Bleeding Edge project and liked him very much. I was very sad to learn of his death, and I'm also sad his tremendous performance in this film was largely overlooked as a result of the film being categorized as a documentary.
