I'm noticing what seem to be anachronisms in the show, such as diction and behaviour, that I suspect are due to the story originally having been written to take place in the 1920s. Sara surely wouldn't have accompanied a bunch of drunken men to a bar so late at night -- I find it hard to believe that they'd even ask her to.

I'm pretty convinced John's wedding to Violet won't come off, but we'll see. John's grandmother seems to have kicked the bucket since last season. It's a shame, because I would have liked to see more of her reactions to the telephone ring in her apartment.

And it seems we're looking at a female serial killer this season.
