Marine Layer was finally useful.

Without one of these: Marine Layer, Hero's Feast, Mind Blank, and Protection from Abberations they would have probably had at least one permadeath, if not a tpk, or we would have found out what getting up to nine eyes would have done.

I ended up subbing to the twitch channel because I couldn't handle not watching this asap.

You can never discount the dice as catalysts for real drama. They're always that extra player at the table, keeping things interesting. If what happened had been purely player or DM choice, there would be far more complaints about it. Much harder to argue with chance.

That sub is going to come in handy - apparently the final episode is going to be just over seven hours.

(My plan is to watch the first two and a half, go to sleep, and watch the rest on the rebroadcast)

I watched an hour on Thursday and couldn't stand the suspense, so I searched for spoilers on tumblr. what an episode.

next one is seven hours?! I don't think I can watch that in only two sittings.

Maybe every time Ashley asked them to keep playing, Matt agreed.

Still working my way through this, but the 2:42:45 mark - fucking Mercer!

That was surprising.

I kinda wish they'd just let Mollymauk die but... the dice spoke.

Like, Cad is so much about a graceful passing into death. And his outburst a couple episodes ago about how clearly he was here to kill this city and help it pass on too..
