The stakes felt so low here after last season because they weren't going to kill or transform anyone. Even Bo's father felt less scary. I was so disappointed by the Hale scene - I wanted something spine chilling or sad, not Hallmark.

The only scene that worked for me was the empty cradle in hell, and Bo realizing she's been born there. The rest felt weirdly meh - not sure why.

I think the cradle scene was in part 2 so opened a thread for that for the sake of being non-spoilery. Not that it matters much since we are probably the only people in the world watching this show.

Heh. Thanks! And what about the whole Kenzie being trapped with gourmet room service - was that a nod to the Persephone, random quirkiness by the writers or - it just made no sense. Argh, I was so looking forward to this season after they managed to make the last season work despite silliness.

Even though the show has now officially been cancelled, it still has a large fanbase so I would imagine ratings are fine, just not big enough for the network to consider it an ongoing concern.

Kenzie was in heaven - as a bone fide fallen hero, her version of Val Hallah was to be her heaven. hence Hale and the wedding.

I liked Kenzi's part, but I feel like this season has started with less "intriguing weirdness" and more "What the fuck" weirdness.
