American Horror Story: Thirst
September 2, 2021 9:33 PM - Season 10, Episode 3 - Subscribe

Harry unhappily takes on an all too eager partner, but she's not the only one who wants a piece of the action.

Random Notes:

*Wow, is this what AHS is like without a million extraneous subplots?! It was nice to see basically everything set up in the first two episodes pay off in this one. I know that doesn't sound like much, but we've all been watching this show, right?

*I loved the snuff movie couple. I'm glad we weren't treated to their antics, but it'd be fun to see them come back down the road in another storyline. I presume they've been at this for a while.

*I do think Alvin and Bette leapt to plotting Harry's murder awfully fast, but I guess that's just how they deal with most problems.

*I don't have a whole lot to say here, but I love where this is going. I have to presume the scaling back of this show's scope is covid-related, but it's turned out to be really good for the writing.

I really don't have a problem with Alvin and Bette leaping to murder. They seem to have no regard for anyone's life but their own so why would Harry be any different? The question for me is why did Alvin convert Harry? I would think there might be a better vetting than system to prevent problems than "Hey I met you briefly, and you seem cool."

This leads me to be totally amused that the agent leapt immediately to what was happening when Harry himself was oblivious until smacked in the face with it. And that she further didn't care except to capitalize on it. She had absolutely no problem being faced with potential murder while in the bath. Considering what she's up against, however, I am very intrigued to see how this all plays out.

Harry really needs a parenting class.

I agree that scaling this season back really is working for the show. I hope they learn from this season.

They're really inefficient about harvest blood, aren't they? Also, without an anticoagulant, it'll clot up into something nasty pretty quick.

Also - I had that exact same checkered brown thermos, growing up.

Agreed, AHS has style for days but this abbreviated schedule is forcing them to be much more economical and it feels like an improvement so far.
