American Rock Stars: American Rock Stars

No, not those rock stars. Curling rock stars. Specifically, the US Men's team, led by John Shuster. This 4-part documentary on Peacock, narrated by Nick Offerman, covers their shocking gold medal in 2018, the aftermath, and the journey back to the Olympics in 2022. It's a fun show, and they all seem like genuinely down to earth people that you'd enjoy hanging out with.

I think this applies to curlers in general.

Cool! I’m watching the US v Denmark game right now. US up 5-3 at the break.

It’s so weird how curling has exploded. People looked at me like I was from mars when I told them I loved to watch curling. Now, I can actually talk about it with people. Anywho, I’ll have to check this out. Thanks!

Ha - Thorzdad you can always come to Canada where it is never weird to talk about curling. They even teach it in some schools. We even have a movie about curling. In anycase, I blame Mr. T for curling's explosion in the US.

I joined a curling league after the Olympics in 2018. I was having a lot of fun but they lost their ice time for a few months and when they got it back it was like 10 PM on Saturdays, and I didn't want to give up every Saturday night so I didn't go back.
