Overall impressions: The Cage/Cole match was a bit of a bore to start with, it's possible I am temporarily oversaturated on Adam Cole. It feels like the rematch happening next week just isn't necessary, might be happening just because there's no one else currently in a position to challenge who isn't already tied up in feuds elsewhere.

Samoe Joe vs. Caster was the joyous squash Joe needed to start with on his way to an apparent cross-promotional ROH/AEW feud.

Shida/Hart was good, not just because Hart is genuinely improving in the ring and her... gradual heel turn?... might be leading her to either join the Black Throne or strike out on her own. As long as she doesn't burn down the Hollywood Blondes to do it. My friends and I believe she's going to take off that eyepatch one day and reveal that side of her face has gone lizard-skin, or something similar. Also, Serena Deeb showed up at the end to prove there can be more than one women's storyline on the same episode! (See also: promos for Jade vs. Marina Shaffir, Thunder Rosa vs. Nyla, Jaime Hayter vs. Toni Storm)

And our main event Bucks/FTR was great, with call backs to previous matches and both teams stealing each others finishers at times. Tag team wrestling can be the greatest.

I want the Hardys to stop doing what they're doing. I was at Wrestlemania 2000; I saw them in a triangle ladder match with the Dudleys and Edge & Christian. Matt has done a great job of reinventing himself in the decades since then. Jeff less so. The reason the Broken angle worked is because it was different from what they'd been doing before. Their current angle is "that thing from twenty-plus years ago, but worse", and they were not helped by being on the same card as the two best tag teams working today.

Max Caster had some great lines on his way to the ring but there was zero question who was winning that match. In fact, my only gripe about the night is that other than the main event I went into every match absolutely certain who would be winning.

FTR vs. The Young Bucks was every bit as good as you'd expect.

I love how Adam Page comes out in his street clothes to confront Adam Cole, and Jungle Boy comes out for the post-match melee in sweats, but poor ol' Luchasaurus still has to gear up every time.
