FORBIDDEN DOOR is the actually name of the PPV? That's freaking brilliant.

But if this doesn't end in Kenny Omega vs. Ibushi or Okada then AEW has wasted an opportunity.

Wardlow coming to the ring handcuffed and flanked by security is a great look, but I would have loved it if they had gone the full Goldberg-entrance and had him walk from his "closet" to the ring with the crowd chanting his name.

Nothing will ever get me to pop bigger than Sting taking off a Sting disguise. Ever. I don't care if they do it every week until he dies of old age at 113.

Ha, yes, someone I know on Discord posted yesterday a set of "through-the-years" style GIFs of Sting lifting a mask to reveal himself. Bonus is that when he was sitting in the stands he had a sign that read "I'm just here for Darby Allin" which turned out to be the literal truth. It was a good match in a vacuum but my questions/concerns are:

1) Why must Andrade constantly lose?
2) Why does it end with the Hardys coming out? Were they threatening Andrade or (as it kind of appeared) Darby and Sting? I thought the big 4-on-4 match was the blow-off for this.

Also, I'm wondering where the Dannhausen vs. Hook thing goes. Either Hook throughly trounces Dannhausen in his AEW in-ring debut, or Hook loses his winning streak through some sort of shenanigans, I guess.

Someone I know joked that Dannhausen's storyline will be that (in his own mind) he's going to join every faction in AEW simultaneously.

Punk vs. Dustin was fucking beautiful. Punk dressed in Bret’s colors; Dustin in Bulldog’s. The callbacks to Dusty and Flair. Nothing fancy, just a love letter to wrestling’s past.
