This was a great movie. My eldest daughter adored it when she was 9, and my youngest daughter has adored it for her entire seven years so far. It pops up in her rotation every few months, and I'm never sick of it -- some of the associated stuff, meh, but the original holds up time and time again.

But my favorite thing about it is that whenever Halloween gets a little too cold, we get a rash of "weather-appropriate Frozen costumes" -- little Annas and Elsas with ice-blue and light-purple dresses peeking out from underneath their winter coats.

My favorite thing about this movie was that in the months after it came out any time I went to Costco there would be little girls doing their Elsa impressions in the entry to the produce walk-in. Got that real authentic chilly breeze going. "The cold never bothered me anyway," indeed. I absolutely love Let It Go - such a fun song to sing and really approachable compared to a lot of what's been in Disney musicals in recent years.
