My wife stumbled across this a few years back and really loves it. (Creepy and unsettling atmosphere, etc). Also unusually for her, she likes it despite the nature of the ending.

SO SPOOKY. I keep suggesting this to people but nobody is interested.
I watched it alone while dog-watching out in the country in a house with very large windows on a very dark night, with one golden retriever next to me on the couch and one next to my feet, and feeling totally creeped out but I could not turn it off. And of course the ending. omg. I slept with the lights on.
