When corpses drained of blood begin to show up in a European village, vampirism is suspected to be responsible.
Not your average vampire bat situation! This film was released in the wake of various successful big B&W horror films, and it features both dubious science and bait-and-switch vampirism. It's quite short by current standards, at around one hour, and by starting in medias res, it feels remarkably complete.
