Absolutely stacked cast (I suspect Jonah Hill called in a lot of favors), with some funny moments even though (with the exception of whoever picked out Hill and Lauren London's clothes) nobody involved seemed to be working very hard. Broad, but not even a little bit deep.

I don't think I'll watch it again, but there are worse ways to spend a couple hours.

Yeah, I was outvoted to watch this and wasn't expecting much, but, uh, honestly I liked it. I laughed a lot more than I was expecting -- though I would say the least funny bits were the Guess Who's Coming to Dinner bits with the parents -- and found the whole thing broadly pleasant? Aside from about a dozen god-tier romcoms, I don't really love the genre, so maybe I'm not the best judge. I thought the weirdest thing was the surprise wedding after they'd broken up for three months. Three days, definitely. Three weeks, sure. Three months?!

It struck me as leaning heavily on stereotypes, with genuine laughs only in the first bit, but at the same time very very millennial in a way that my gen x ass can’t quite articulate and for that reason I liked it.
