White announced he would launch a new era of "Bullet Club Gold" in AEW, when he showed up to help out fellow NJPW alum Juice Robinson

FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) speak, and hopefully their Double Or Nothing program will come together starting tonight

Chris Jericho confronts Adam Cole

It all started when Chris Jericho felt that Adam Cole's return celebration was too long. Last week Cole crashed Jericho's celebration when he defeated Keith Lee.

TNT Championship Match: Powerhouse Hobbs (c) vs. Wardlow

Last week, Wardlow returned, wrecked Hobbs' car, and attacked members of QTV. This week he gets his rematch to try and regain the title.

The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) & "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn vs. Jericho Appreciation Society (Matt Menard, Angelo Parker & Jake Hager)

Daddy Magic meets Daddy Ass! Plus Hager will continue to get his hat over with the crowd.

Dr. Britt Baker DMD & Jamie Hayter vs. The Outcasts (Toni Storm & Ruby Soho)

Baker will likely look to her hometown crowd for inspiration tonight, and I hope this story either starts a new chapter or gains a new participant.

The Elite Set To Address The Blackpool Combat Club

Bryan Danielson returned from losing against MJF to give Kenny a perfect Busaiku Knee and declared that The Elite are "what is wrong with wrestling" before taking a screwdriver to the face of Hangman Page. Last week, The Elite attempted to gain a measure of Revenge, threatening to drive a screwdriver into the face of Jon Moxley. So many men competing for the love of Hangman Adam Page...

REMINDER: Rampage is on Saturday this week because of basketball.

It's starting to be a little bit of a problem when all four pillars come out, and it becomes clear that certain pillars are better on the microphone than others. Love how MJF commits to calling it a "tournament" of three competitors, complete with a match graphic.

And here was me thinking Britt Baker would be in the main event... ah well. A good tag team match mostly without shenanigans. Baker and Hayter win and escape a post-match castigo... so what happens next?

The Elite get a temporary party member when Don Callis pulls out Konosuke Takeshita out the back, and now I'm stoked for him to take on Danielson sometime soon.

"Making new friends" seems to be the theme of today's episode: Takeshita and The Elite, Arn Anderson and Wardlow, Ricky Starks and Shawn Spears... they even got Sammy hugging MJF and FTR deciding to shake hands with Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal to make common foes against... the Trustbusters?
