I found this fascinating. Frauds and scams (and identity theft and being on the run) were so much easier to do back then.

Lots of respect for trans pronouns - in stark contrast to the contemporary footage of her treatment.

It's been a while since I watched this, but my jaw dropped when Tucker Carlson's dad showed up in it. (Behaving exactly like you'd expect.)

Elizabeth Carmichael is one of those frustrating people where she just could have turned those same immense talents to something legitimate and done *really* well, but she couldn't help but be a con artist instead.
