Poor Ulavina. Sarah really sold her feelings of shame, guilt, despair, being lost, after betraying her oath to kill Dalli, and then learning the oath was given to a group of liars and murderers on top of it all. Talk about existential crisis! That's a lot for a lil halfling.
Good to see that the party was able to wrap up the fight pretty quickly after taking some serious damage. Once Dryddian got into the fray for realz, the Future was toast.
The one thing I'm not clear about -- and not sure if I agree with the party's assessment of -- is Karina Madvale's part.
Clearly at one point, all the Medaji were part of the Future, but WillowWalk quit over his moral and ethical issues with the Future's methods.
Madvale, on the other hand, is still with the Medaji/Future at this point in time. But the question is, what were her motives when she and Tolo met all those years ago / years ahead?
The party assumes that at some point in the future, Madvale leaves the Medaji/Future, or expels the corruption, or in some other way breaks good, and at that point, she contacts Tolo across time (ie, back to before the start of the campaign). But was she perhaps lying when she told Tolo that she didn't know him, but would in the future? That is, did she lure Tolo to Baldur's Gate because of his magical nose, to potentially study/dissect him? I think that's very possible, but we shall see...

[obligatory ooh and aahing about the terrain:] Actual lit torches!
Totally fair that the dragon wanted out NOW. Glad Flik didn't have to figure out how to carry the whole collar!
I was bummed by the revelation about the Medaji, although Willowwalk did leave over the Future's brutal methods. It's still devastating for Ulavina. Dryddian's story about learning to kill hit hard too, and totally matches your previous observations about the character.
I imagine Tolo will end up using that salvaged lens at some point...?
Nedd and Fredd. :)
Augh, what happened in that attic??
