[TRAILER] Two horse traders (Ben Johnson, Harry Carey Jr.) are hired by a Mormon elder (Ward Bond) to guide his group's wagon train to the San Juan Valley. Along the way, they encounter rugged terrain, a stranded medicine show, the cutthroat Clegg gang, hospitable Navajo, and moral challenges.
