I was very impatient and read Wool so my mind is a bit blurry on some points, but did Juliette get a whiff of what's going on over in 18? I can't remember a specific incident, just her mission to "get back" by pulling together a new suit.
This is a show-only thread so spoilers in ROT13:
It's a simple caesar cypher, shouldn't need help from The Legacy /s

I enjoyed this episode- things seemed to happen, as opposed to a few of the previous episodes. Also it looks like next week will be a journey through the ruined silo, which should give a chance for the props/set people to really shine

Yeah, as much as it _feels_ like nothing is much happening this season compared to all the various threads we got last season, they're spending a lot of time building up to an insurrection/riot/etc with Silo 18 marching out into the great blue and dying, and I'm interested in whether Bernard manages to keep them all from killing themselves or not? I think they were lucky getting Robbins to play that role - a lesser actor wouldn't have done as well, I don't think.

Yup, I think Tim Robbins is great in this role - he's got complex motives and responsibilities ... there's a certain justification for villainy (or at least 'villainous actions') that I think about a lot in terms of current events. I definitely agree that we needed a real master for this role, and got one!

Thanks for the Rot13 refresher!
I also agree, Robbins has been fantastic as Bernard. The heel turn from "reluctant" temp mayor to shadow leader/overseer of the silo was made all the better because of how well Robbins can be disarmingly charming. This may be my favorite role for him since Hudsucker Proxy.

Patrick is my favorite trash character of the show and it's entirely because his actor is delightfully charismatic and roguish. Billings being drawn to the truth is wonderful and Bernard's response is built around how the truth won't set you free in the Silo, it will get you and everyone who knows it, killed.
I'm really curious to see how Sims moves. I was genuinely worried for Lukas when Sims comes in and is just, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" The guy is going to flip when he finds out Lukas is Bernard's shadow. The circumstances of the shadowing, though, are a bit off. Bernard was ready to kill Lukas by way of mine punishment (10 years), so definitely has no problems with life or death decisions with Lukas. So why not let Lukas see the Legacy and knock him off afterward? You know, like how George was knocked off for learning too much and Juliette was sent to clean...
Lastly, dick move by tv Solo. S'all I'm going to say.
