Two weeks after making his return at World's End -- and three days after flying to Japan and having a match in the Tokyo Dome so good it made Hiroshi Tanahashi cry on commentary -- Kenny Omega returns. If that's not enough, the men's Casino Gauntlet Match happens for a shot at the championship next week, new/old Toni Storm has a three-way match with Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander, and Buddy Matthews challenges Will Ospreay.

The announced card for tonight:

Kenny Omega returns
Buddy Matthews vs. Will Ospreay
Kris Statlander vs. Toni Storm vs. Willow Nightingale -- winner gets the #1 spot in the women's Casino Gauntlet Match
Mark Briscoe vs. Bobby Lashley
Men's Casino Gauntlet Match - winner gets a world title shot next week
Promos from Jeff Jarrett, MJF, and Mariah May -- not together as a group (but wouldn't that be something?)
Private Party hold a "victory celebration" after defending their championship

Sincere question from someone who hasn't seen him since his WWE heyday: Isn't he getting too old for this shit?

Which "him" are you asking about? If it's Lashley, then he's certainly still in fighting shape. If it's Jarrett, then it's hard to tell because I just saw Yuta violently escort him out of the Casino match like a disgruntled orderly at an unethical retirement home.

Well, seeing them actually together has given me something to think about. MJF's sales pitch is that Jarrett has only one year left with the company, and now is an extremely dangerous time to stick one's nose into the world title picture, so why not accept help from an insider? At this moment JJ has too much pride to accept, but if he gets desperate before his year is up, "MJJF" could be a fun heel duo.

Speaking of fun heel duos, Harley Cameron drops in uninvited on Mariah May to arrange a "hot girl graps" on Collision, followed by decapitation.

Best laugh of the night so far, Excalibur saying that Toni Storm is a "three-time world champion, whether she remembers it or not!"

So, Kenny's back, the new theme is a whole melodrama mood, and that prick Don Callis couldn't even let him finish a whole promo before interrupting with even meatier men in his brute squad than the last time.

Will Ospreay makes the save, and Will gives him a look to make sure Kenny remembers that a favor is now owed. These two guys are tied 1 win and 1 loss apiece to each other, from back in 2023.

If you mean Jarret, he's probably getting close. Don't even get me started on Chris Jericho.

Sorry, yeah, I meant him.

Hell of a physical specimen, but as much personality as unsalted rice cakes.
