My experience has been that people scoff when I tell them that I want to show them this movie, and then become advocates for it after.
This is how this came to me - someone recommended it to me. It's good! It's kinda bad! It's exactly what you expect you're getting, and everyone turns in a performance that's honestly good for what it's supposed to be. No lies or subtext, just an action movie about a big ass spider.

This is a funny, enjoyable film, and the leads do some of their best work. The supporting character actors know exactly what kind of movie they are in and present themselves well.
