Abbott Elementary: Rally

There's a rally to get Ava back.
"Shark is the tuna of the sea."
"SweetCheeks's car seat takes up the entire front seat."
"May I approach the table as a character witness?" "JUST STAY WHERE YOU ARE."
Nobody likes Barbara's assumption that they are all God-fearing.
"Red is supposed to be persuasive, ok?!"
"What are you prepared to give me?" "Nothing."
"Ava was so much better at this." (And then Gregory breaks out law and math.) "So this would be a LEGAL bribe."
"Consider burning that."
OH NO, THEY'RE ALL CLAIMING THEY DID IT.
"You're ALL suspended for a week!"
"I have a dependent at the school that requires me being physically present!"
"Sweetcheeks is also suspended for a week."
Ava's still fired.
"I WON'T BE HERE FOR EARTH DAY!!!!"
Who's Zooming from the toilet?
"We become a charter school for a little bit and just change back!"
"Make an account? Never mind."
"You want a high five? I DON'T DO THOSE."
THE KIDS ARE DOING A PROTEST. "Our teachers do everything. What are Y'ALL doing?!"
"Nothing they say matters to you?" "No. Now that everyone's done feeling heard."
THEN THE PTA INVADES. And the B.L.A.C.K.S. And local businesses led by Ava's dad. And the white savior! And Crystal!
"STOP THE CHANT! After everyone's thoughtful thoughts, we have returned to our original plan of reinstating Ava and her teachers!"
"It is good to have you back, friend." "FRIEND?!" "Principal Coleman."
To the office lady: "Y'all DESERVE each other."
"I'm gonna be honest with y'all, I don't remember anything I learned before the age of 12."

Tariq is kind of like the Andy (of Parks and Rec) of the show. Starts off as this horrible boyfriend in season 1, and then is kind of redeemed as a character through acts of not being horrible, while at the same time, being a little dense. I went from loathing Tariq to enjoying what happens when he shows up.
I didn't mind Ava losing/regaining her job, but now I feel like it's a setup for Gregory to look at taking a principal job elsewhere in the district. It's the same situation as Janine, she decides to pursue the district option, then relents to be back at Abbot. We will see that with Gregory?
I appreciated that they allowed Ava to be successful, so her decision to return wasn't based on an economic necessity. I 100% expect the cold opener for next season will be Ava having managed to create a new secret bathroom somewhere else in the building.
