Strange Club first viewing

The first viewing has been chosen, and is set to go live on Monday! And other administrative matters.
We'll be watching Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives (2010, written/directed by Apichatpong Weerasethakul.) Available for streaming on Netflix and Fandor, and digital rental on Amazon or Apple for 3.99.
For obtaining this, and other movies which may be harder, or even impossible to find in conventional ways, I highly recommend sending ryanrs a memail; he's very thoughtfully set up something special and private for us Strange Clubbers, and he'll get you sorted out.
We're going with Monday, August 17 for the post, so get your viewing in. Also, that Uncle Boonmee post will contain the next series of movies to vote on, and we'll keep going from there. Thanks!

Separate from this I coincidentally just found and signed up for Fandor, I'm super excited about it. Seems like an ideal resource for this club.

I've been wanting to see this movie for a few years now, but sometimes it's tough to block out the time and mental space to watch something that demands a decent chunk of both. Strange Club, take me away!

Well, I watched a little under half of it last night. I hope to finish it off tonight- until I do, I'll have to make myself stay away from the upcoming thread!
