There's a new king in Ooo, The nIce King, and most of the princesses are falling over themselves to win his heart, but why does this new king look strangely familiar?

Adventure Time is usually a positive experience, but this one felt a little chauvinistic to me. The princesses are universally hapless, and in this case are portrayed as explicitly responsible for their problems. It's worse than the usual Ice King kidnapping, in which his magic powers tend to be the default explanation as to how a given princess has fallen into his clutches. Here, the princesses fling themselves at the charming alpha in a frenzy of gold-digging, and Finn plays the role of the Nice Guy who reveals the truth and triumphs in the end.
