So, we get to see more about Two's magic healing? We haven't seen any of her memories yet or really any indication of what or who she was prior to losing her memory.

I'm glad we got to see Two kick the shit out of rapey mcdouchbag, but would have rather we not have that plot line at all.

I thought it was silly Six didn't dress in a uniform, even if she was hidden. What if she's spotted after they snuck her in? Does no one think of these things?!

I was sure hologram android would come into play, but I guess that's next episode?

Also, vaguely reminded me of the Firefly episode they sneak River into the medical facility for Simon to run some diagnostics. There is down thing about this show that isn't really copying firefly, but it has brief moments of echoing it.

I spent the whole show waiting for the return of Android vs. Android -- I'm not sure why I like her so much.

The highlight of this one for me was the first 5 minutes when the android was narrating "They've launched a nuclear missle" and "we have 5 seconds left" in her cheerful voice.

The heist plot was generic but I enjoyed it.

I see #4 has no pretensions of "trying not to go back to being what he was before" - he stabbed 7 or 8 innocent people getting them off the station.

After all the mystery about what the stolen cargo was I don't think they ever revealed what it was -- maybe that comes in part ii.

Looking forward to a #2-centric episode after they're amazed at her survival. Maybe it will answer the question I've had for a while... Did she have her healing ability before or was it a result of the zombie infection she recovered from? (It was designed to create immortality after all.)

I enjoyed the heck out of the heist plot. And Android is rapidly becoming my favorite character. Her and Three, who I'm starting to think is a big softy under the abrasive exterior. I may ship them just a teeny bit.

I wonder if some of the hijackers are going to stick around in a Firefly/Buffy-esque "my enemies have become my allies"?

This crew is seriously the worst set of hard-assed mercs ever. You go on a mission with psycho rapey douchebags you don't trust, and you let them on the goddamned bridge? I like the cast, but the writers seem to be playing a lazy game of "how stupid can we make these people before under_petticoat_rule's head explodes?"

And no, memory loss does not justify the stupidity, they manage to feed and clothe themselves etc.

Week after week the writers insult the audience (and the actors, and the characters) with lazy, lazy, uninspired, derivative and nonsensical scripts. I'm entertained enough by a few of the performances that I'm in it until the end of the season, but seriously the writing on this show is dogshit. I don't know how the writers keep their jobs.

My guess as to how the writers keep their jobs is that almost every episode has been written by at least one of the co-creators. Only three episodes (3, 7, & 8) are credited to someone else.

They've been talking about spacing someone enough that I'm glad it finally happened. Speaking of which:

mmoncur: Looking forward to a #2-centric episode after they're amazed at her survival. Maybe it will answer the question I've had for a while... Did she have her healing ability before or was it a result of the zombie infection she recovered from? (It was designed to create immortality after all.)

Same. And the immortality bit is a great point.

I'd also say that given that we've learned nothing of her past, she currently seems the most likely of the crew to have caused the memory erasure. 5 would be next on my suspect list; we're not sure how she was saved from being spaced by 3 but she seems like she'd have the most to gain, from stow-away to (almost) being considered one of the crew.

Though also worth considering is Tabor Calchek. The crew keeps saying that they think their memories were erased to make them docile, easier to deal with, but I'm not convinced they've got that right. Unless Tabor wanted to turn them in for the bounty, with the crew unable to rat him out.

Though this doesn't make sense with the job they were supposed to pull on the mining colony. And the Android trying to kill them when she woke up.
