Late Show with Stephen Colbert: Emily Blunt/Justice Stephen Breyer/The Dead Weather
September 17, 2015 10:21 AM - Season 1, Episode 5 - Subscribe
Actress Emily Blunt (Sicario (2015)); Supreme Court justice Stephen Breyer (The Court and The World); The Dead Weather performs.
Really, I just wanted to make this post to say that I got a great big kick out of the high five to hand from under desk gag returning and the follow-up of the hand refusing a bad pun.
The interview with Emily Blunt was great. I love that they touched on the sexism in hollywood, turned the tables and talked about the appearance of an actor, and the return of Stephen's fake puking!
Justice Stephen Breyer had some convincing arguments against cameras in the supreme court, but Colbert had good points too. It's one of those arguments that will go on and on, with good cases for both sides, but at least for now SCOTUS is erring on the side of caution.

For FanFare, should we do like a weekly format, maybe listing the major guests for the upcoming week?
Also, is anyone else annoyed by audience members "woo"-ing over the most random things said by Colbert? It seems like it's more about sticking out and being heard, rather than actually voicing support for whatever's just been mentioned.
I imagine it's even worse on other, younger-leaning talk shows (on "Wait Wait," it seems worst when they go on the road). Colbert at least seems to notice it, like during the "lightsaber hilt" segment where he likened someone's shrieking to a Wookiee.

I don't mind that format, sure. Just not sure how to list all the episode numbers for the week with the post form.
