Honestly, I didn't think it was too bad. It's not super original, but somehow the acting made it work for me. And Jimmy pretty much dives in right away rather than having douche behavior first, so yay for that. Paget Brewster is awesome as always. And I rather enjoyed Gerald as a sweet, innocent younger doppelganger of Jimmy.

Go figure.

Happy and somewhat surprised that Jimmy warmed up to the father/grandfather role so quickly, instead of dragging it out over the first season.

I adore Paget Brewster in comedic roles. Though I'm sad to think of what this means for her character in any future incarnations of Community.

Community is over, according to Joel McHale, so naturally she needs another gig.

As for the movie, who knows there.

I had to confess to my wife last night that I find Stamos to just be very likeable and I enjoy his delivery such that I will try anything he shows up in. Who says you can't still learn things about each other after a decade. I thought they did a nice job with creating conflict in the show without needing to make anyone awful.

I could have lived without the benign racism of wanting an asian doctor. "Positive" stereotypes are still stereotypes and racist, Hollywood. Knock it off.

I also think Brewster is a fun actor and I hope they find a way to let her still be a fun and sexual creature who is over 25, rather than limiting that just to the male lead.
